Return to the Everything Went Black Podcast and new episode up now!
I returned to Mike Hill’s fantastic Everything Went Black Podcast for a new episode that is now available to check out.
During the discussion with Mike we cover tons of Cadabra Records and Chiroptera Press news. On the Cadabra front we delve into the forthcoming and massive 8XLP boxed-set of H.P. Lovecraft’s The Case of Charles Dexter Ward that Andrew Leman has brilliantly performed and that I have scored along with Slasher Film Festival Strategy. We also touch upon the most recent live performances/recordings in May of 2024 with Laurence R. Harvey where Christopher Ashley and I collaborated on composing soundtracks to literary works that Laurence beautifully brought to life and written by the likes of Georges Bataille, Leonora Carrington, Edogawa Rampo and Roald Dahl. Further, we also get into the next series of Cadabra live performances/recordings taking place on Saturday, August 24th and Sunday, August 25th in which Robert Lloyd Parry will be performing works by L.A. Lewis and Arthur Machen while I’ll be supplying the soundtrack for both of those sessions. Mike and I also touch upon some other recent and upcoming vinyl releases on Cadabra as well as the summer release of the second Seer album (my project with the outstanding film and concert hall composer Peter Scartabello) on Yuggoth Records.
Speaking to the many exciting and beautiful book editions that Chiroptera has and will release soon, we dive into the weird fiction works of Thomas Ligotti, T.E.D. Klein, Mark Samuels and Matthew M. Bartlett.
As always it was an awesome time speaking with Mike and people that are interested in checking it out can listen here!
