Cave Dweller Music Podcast, Chris Bozzone (Seer) Episode Now Up!
I had the great pleasure of speaking with James Sweetlove and Brendan Smith of Cave Dweller Music recently and recorded the episode that has just been released!
We had a fantastic discussion and covered my music project with Peter Scartabello, Seer as well as Scartabello’s phenomenal record label, Yuggoth Records which has released both Seer albums along with my solo LP, “Phantom Flowers.” . Some of the other topics we covered include some of my recent live performances in Providence, Rhode Island as part of the Necronomicon festival of Weird Fiction, live performances/recordings in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in connection to soundtrack work I’ve done for Cadabra Records, short films/music videos I’ve directed and composed scores for along with love shown towards assorted music and film over time.
Here is a brief description from Cave Dweller Music along with links to check it out. Thanks to Sweetlove and Smith!:
We sit down with composer/musician/director Chris Bozzone, half of the experimental black/doom/drone metal/dungeon synth/ambient project Seer, artist on Yuggoth Records, known force at Cadabra Records, and co-director and scorer of the 2015 film Mirrors. We discuss the role that fantasy and horror have played in Chris's art, Seer's new album The Hours (out now), H.P. Lovecraft, Frizzi 2 Fulci, dungeon synth and 1980s dark fantasy cinema. We also discuss film scoring, indie and classic horror, drive in theaters, being selected as a winner by David Lynch at a film festival and much more.
